Now offering Team Training
Are you a coach, parent or manager looking to make your team a more cohesive unit? Sign your team up for Sahlen Sports Park's latest program structured by 2010 Fieldturf Coach of the Year and 2011 WPS championship coach Aaran "Kiwi" Lines. By participating in these sessions you will receive an educational team training that combines technical and tactical awareness both on an individual level and as a team.
This program offers:
- Customized training sessions for each team according to their level of play.
- Competitve forms of technical drills and training games with high intensity.
- Demonstrations of high quality instruction from a professional player that will enable players of all ages to learn quickly.
- Sessions can be planned in cooperation with the coach according to the teams strengths and weaknesses.
Meet Kiwi
An international with 41 caps on the New Zealand National Team, Kiwi has played at all levels throughout the world. He spent 5 years in the German 1st Bundesliga with Werder Bremen, one of the top European clubs in the world. He also has played extensively in Australia, and here is America, most notably for the Rochester Rhinos of the USL 1st Division. Kiwi also holds his UEFA B coaching license from Germany and has coached all levels of youth.
In just three years with the WNY Flash, Aaran has guided the team to a record of 38 wins and eight draws against just five losses. During this time, he was named 2010 Fieldturf Coach of the Year in addition to winning back-to-back titles in the W-League (2010) and Women's Professional Soccer (2011).
